Prospectivity Analytics and Exploration Targeting
Mercator utilizes advanced exploration data analytics to develop deposit specific algorithms for advanced predictability and prospectivity modelling, suitable for all stages of an exploration project. This involves algorithm-assisted prospectivity analysis and customized target generation methods that Mercator has developed merges multiple data types with spatial coverage, including geology, geochemistry, LiDAR and geophysics to identify areas with greatest prospectivity for a desired deposit type.
Machine Learning is utilized to development an optimized logical workflow (sampling, training, testing, application) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) products make it possible to maximize the value of a dataset by carrying out an in-depth analysis, determining the quality of the data and its ability to create a predictive image. The results can identify mineral specific exploration vectors that are modelled in Leapfrog and QGIS for enhanced 3D visualization.
